Anguilla Experience, Cap Juluca Experience

From Water To Wine: Our Top Four Beachside Spots To Have A Glass

rose

Our theory: the best wines are shared on the powdery beaches of Anguilla. With many of the top restaurants in the Caribbean, it’s no surprise menus are paired with impressive wine lists and libations. We’ve named a few of our top beachside spots to sip a glass of your favorite!

Jacala

It doesn’t get more French Caribbean than Jacala. Martha Stewart recently named Jacala her favorite restaurant in the Caribbean and for all of the right reasons. Imagine tableside Beef Tartare and Snapper Meuniere while clinking glasses of Sancerre in this al fresco scene on Meads Bay. Owned by a French sommelier and master chef, Jacala is a must visit for foodies and wine enthusiasts!

Trattoria Tramonto

Frequented by locals and even the occasional, low-key celebrity like Meryl Streep, Trattoria Tramonto is a quaint beach oasis. This breezy restaurant is tucked away on the west side of the island only 10 minutes from Cap Juluca. Enjoy refreshing, authentic Northern Italian cuisine and a bottle of chilled Prosecco under the shady palm trees. Complimentary beach loungers are offered with lunch service.

Davidas

Davidas is the place for live music with Omari Banks on Sundays and a fabulous spot to sip frozen mojitos any day of the week. And, of course, they serve wine too! Davidas is located in Crocus Bay, which offers calm waters for lounging. The more adventurous imbibers can SUP and kayak over to Little Bay, where they can lounge, swim and sip all afternoon.

Cap Juluca

Last but not least, home sweet home. We offer an array of renowned wines and cocktails from fine dining at Pimms to casual beachfront at Blue and our lively Moroccan-inspired lounge, Spice. Our impressive wine list at Pimms is recognized by Wine Spectator with its Award of Excellence. And sometimes your favorite sip is best savored from your private patio or beach lounger, paired with an unforgettable Anguillian sunset. Cheers to you and your next visit to the island!
