CJ: What is your all-time favorite experience at Cap Juluca?

SM: One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had in the Caribbean was at Pimms, the fine-dining restaurant. It was my first time in Anguilla, and we had a table by the ocean. I had grilled crayfish (of course) and a chilled white, accented by candlelight and the occasional splash from a crashing wave. At the time I thought, “This is exactly what a romantic Caribbean restaurant should be” – and it still feels that way to this day.

CJ: What’s your most memorable indulgence at the resort?

SM: My first time at Cap Juluca, I had an amazing massage in my room. The therapist was outstanding, but it was the setting that took it over the top. We had the doors open so I could hear the waves crashing outside, and there was a lovely breeze that kept me cool. It was so much more special than being in a typical spa treatment room. After 90 minutes, he slipped out and I fell asleep on the terrace chaise, perfectly relaxed.
